Comeback Athlete ("Comeback," "we," "our," or "the app") is a health and wellness app that helps injured athletes track their recovery. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

By using Comeback, you agree to this policy.

1. AGE REQUIREMENT

Comeback is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it.

Users between 13 and 17 should use Comeback with the awareness of a parent or guardian.

Your data is stored using Supabase, a third-party backend provider, with industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit. Supabase also supports authentication and database access controls.

Profile and recovery data are restricted to your account. Community posts and comments you choose to share may be visible to other authenticated members according to the community feature design.

Comeback is a consumer wellness app. We are not a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA, and this Privacy Policy is not a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal data with third-party advertisers for their advertising.

We do not use advertising identifiers (such as IDFA) to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and obtain any required permission (including App Tracking Transparency where applicable).

The Athlete Network is text-only (no images or direct messages). Content is subject to safety filtering, and you can report or block other users.

Do not share sensitive personal medical information in community areas. Community posts are peer support only and are not medical advice.

7. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

Comeback is a wellness and tracking tool, not a medical service or medical device. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, provide emergency services, or provide medical clearance to return to activity.

Always follow guidance from your physician, physical therapist, athletic trainer, or care team.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or local emergency services immediately.

We retain your data while your account is active or as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain security.

When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from active systems where reasonably possible. Limited records may remain in backups, logs, transaction records, or safety records for a reasonable period where required for legal, security, or operational purposes.
